Session boundaries and participation rules
These rules are published to keep expectations clear before participation. They are not legal advice; they explain how we run community sessions in shared public areas across London boroughs.
Before arrival
- Review route notes and weather update sent the same day.
- Wear footwear suited to wet pavement, if relevant.
- Bring personal medication if needed; leaders cannot provide medical support.
During session
- Report discomfort immediately.
- Stay within visible range of the group guide.
- Use public-space etiquette for shared paths.
When we pause or cancel
- Surface risk (ice, severe rain, flood alert)
- Air quality warnings
- Staffing below minimum supervision threshold
Incident and safeguarding path
- Step 1: Session lead records concern details immediately.
- Step 2: Practical support is offered on site where appropriate.
- Step 3: Follow-up note sent within two business days.
- Step 4: Serious incidents are escalated under safeguarding procedure.
